1. Family sponsorship program:-

We plan to sponsor for 200 children in the poor families in the coming three years. Primary and secondary education is very important and many children are unable to complete their secondary education due to the financial difficulties and utter poverty. We are committed to provide assistance to complete the secondary school education for 200 poor children. We plan to give financial assistance @INR 5000/- per child per year for three years. The selection of the children is made through the community based organization promoted by us. We are committed to provide the financial assistance completely for the education of these poor children.

2. Marriage assistance :-

There are a number of poor girls who could not be get marries due to the dowry problem. Though it is banned, people are compelled to give that. But those who boldly come forward to get married, many poor families are unable to give their daughters married due to the inability to cover the minimum marriage expenses. Understanding this difficulty, we as a social organization committed to the support of the disadvantaged, planned to conduct marriage of 50 young women and to meet marriage expenses and a support @INR 50000/- per couple.

3. Karunayanidhi :-

This is the collection to be served for the poor people at the time of their distress. There are a number of families who are unable to meet their expenses at the time of their chronic illness and accidents. At that time they are mentally depressed and that situation adds to their poverty. For the past five years we try to give the assistance to the poor families at the time of severe illness, accidents and deaths. Through the participatory assessment and visits, the assistance @INR 2000 is given to the members of Community Based Organizations and their family members. Thus we could assist more than 50 families every year. We are planning to extent the support for 100 more families every year.

4. Assistance to the families affected and infected with HIV/AIDS:-

No medical insurance or assistance is given to the positive people who are infected with HIV/AIDS. They are socially and mentally kept away by the communities. Very poor families are finding it very difficult to get nutrition support especially at the time they are undergoing Anti Retroviral Therapy (ART). Monthly assistance @ INR 500/- for a family at least for 100 positive families is planned under this program.

5. Housing for the poor families:-

House is the place of residence and it gives a feeling of security for the poor families. Assistance is given to each family @ INR 100000/- for selected 50 families every year. The selection of these families is made with the support from the community based organizations. Collective action regarding the construction is planned in this program. Mobilizing social capital is planned and a participatory method of construction and monitoring is ensured for these families. We provide one lakh rupees for a family and the rest they make through the community mobilization.
